Soon Delon really made a brilliant acting career, Delilah is more fortunate on the music scene. However, which Delilah? By the time she was advised to change one letter, and the birth of a singer Dalida.
Despite the different ways, the former neighbors continued to be friends, and once Delon suggested Dalide perform a duet song that he had repeatedly heard on the radio ...

The choice was successful. From the man in the duet, it was required, not just the vocal data, but the actor's talent. He was supposed to "pepper" the woman with beautiful words about love, and that in response ironically fend off: "Again words, always words ... All this sneering, candy-chocolates ... They sound fake."

Not everyone knows that the famous composition "Paroles, paroles" ("Words, words") by origin is the same Italian as Dalida. Its authors are participants of the musical TV program "Teatro 10". Words were written by Leo Kyosso and Giancarlo Del Re, and music by conductor Gianni Ferrio.
"Parole, parole" (this is how the song is written in Italian) debuted in the spring of 1972 in one of the issues of "Teatro 10" performed by singer Mina and actor Alberto Lupo.





The composition so quickly became popular that a month later, in the same program, Mina introduced "Perverted" versed "this time in a duet with Adriano Celentano. Now the woman was persuading the man of his love, and he indifferently waved, brutally blowing smoke into the face of the partner. It looked very funny ...

Well, a year later came the French version of Delilah and Delon, which we all know very well.

Delilah, too, was not averse to joking, so one day she sang the song, lying in bed with actor Roger Pierre (while "husband" confessed his love, "the wife" dropped her hand under the bed where she was showered with kisses hiding ... postman).

Another time, she sang "Parole, parole" in a duet with a female singer Zhanna Galan (both of whom were wearing men's suits).

Of course, the song was picked up by other performers - including the Japanese (Toshiyuko Hosokawa & Akiko Nakamura), the Turks (Aida Pekkan & Beyaz) and the Russians (Theona Dolnikova & Gosha Kutsenko). And in the New Year's broadcast of 1996, Alain Delon quail her in a duet with Lara Fabian. Delilah by that time already almost ten years was not alive ...

They settled on Rue Jean-Mermoz in Paris almost simultaneously in 1954. They are two future mega-stars: the legendary Delilah (then on the passport of Yolanda Christina Gillotti - the girl who dreamed of an acting career) and starting her way to the cinema Olympus Alain Delon. We met and became friends.

Despite the fact that their creative paths diverged, the former neighbors continued to make friends and communicate. In 1974, Alain Delon proposed to Dalida to record the French version of the popular Italian song “Parole, parole”, which by that time was already performed by Mina and Adriano Celentano and which was very popular with the actor.
